Junior Class Representative: Jason Michael Walker

My name is Jason Michael Walker, I am 32 years old. I grew up in Lithia Springs, Georgia and moved to Atlanta shortly after completing my enlistment in the Navy. I grew up in a Southern Baptist home, and at seven years old I was baptized - accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.  When I dedicated my life to the Lord, I knew that this would mean a life of service.  Since then I have made career choices that would allow me to be of service.   Nursing is a 24 hour a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year specialty that is focused on being of service, continuing education, and sometimes being just a shoulder to lean on when someone needs it.

I am so excited to serve as May 2012, Junior Class Representative for the Georgia Baptist Association of Nursing Students (GBANS).  Being part of the GBANS legacy; upholding the highest standard for nursing education and which is dedicated to revolutionizing the practice of nursing is a building the foundation that I will use in my career as a Registered Nurse.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any concerns or would like to get involved with GBANS.
